99:1
إِذَا idha When زُلۡزِلَتِ zul'zilati is shaken ٱلۡأَرۡضُ al-ardu the earth زِلۡزَالَهَا zil'zalaha (with) its earthquake ١
idha zul'zilati al-ardu zil'zalaha
— Transliteration
When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake

99:2
وَأَخۡرَجَتِ wa-akhrajati And brings forth ٱلۡأَرۡضُ al-ardu the earth أَثۡقَالَهَا athqalaha its burdens ٢
wa-akhrajati al-ardu athqalaha
— Transliteration
And when the earth throws out its burdens

99:3
وَقَالَ waqala And says ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ al-insanu man مَا ma What لَهَا laha (is) with it? ٣
waqala al-insanu ma laha
— Transliteration
And man will say: "What is the matter with it

99:4
يَوۡمَئِذٖ yawma-idhin That Day تُحَدِّثُ tuhaddithu it will report أَخۡبَارَهَا akhbaraha its news ٤
yawma-idhin tuhaddithu akhbaraha
— Transliteration
That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil)

99:5
بِأَنَّ bi-anna Because رَبَّكَ rabbaka your Lord أَوۡحَىٰ awha inspired لَهَا laha [to] it ٥
bi-anna rabbaka awha laha
— Transliteration
Because your Lord has inspired it

99:6
يَوۡمَئِذٖ yawma-idhin That Day يَصۡدُرُ yasduru will proceed ٱلنَّاسُ al-nasu the mankind أَشۡتَاتٗا ashtatan (in) scattered groups لِّيُرَوۡاْ liyuraw to be shown أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ a'malahum their deeds ٦
yawma-idhin yasduru al-nasu ashtatan liyuraw a'malahum
— Transliteration
That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds

99:7
فَمَن faman So whoever يَعۡمَلۡ ya'mal does مِثۡقَالَ mith'qala (equal to the) weight ذَرَّةٍ dharratin (of) an atom خَيۡرٗا khayran good يَرَهُۥ yarahu will see it ٧
faman ya'mal mith'qala dharratin khayran yarahu
— Transliteration
So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it

99:8
وَمَن waman And whoever يَعۡمَلۡ ya'mal does مِثۡقَالَ mith'qala (equal to the) weight ذَرَّةٖ dharratin (of) an atom شَرّٗا sharran evil يَرَهُۥ yarahu will see it ٨
waman ya'mal mith'qala dharratin sharran yarahu
— Transliteration
And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it
