111:1
تَبَّتۡ tabbat Perish يَدَآ yada (the) hands أَبِي abi (of) Abu لَهَبٖ lahabin Lahab وَتَبَّ watabba and perish he ١
tabbat yada abi lahabin watabba
— Transliteration
Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he

111:2
مَآ ma Not أَغۡنَىٰ aghna (will) avail عَنۡهُ anhu him مَالُهُۥ maluhu his wealth وَمَا wama and what كَسَبَ kasaba he earned ٢
ma aghna anhu maluhu wama kasaba
— Transliteration
His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him

111:3
سَيَصۡلَىٰ sayasla He will be burnt نَارٗا naran (in) a Fire ذَاتَ dhata of لَهَبٖ lahabin Blazing Flames ٣
sayasla naran dhata lahabin
— Transliteration
He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames

111:4
وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ wa-im'ra-atuhu And his wife حَمَّالَةَ hammalata (the) carrier ٱلۡحَطَبِ al-hatabi (of) firewood ٤
wa-im'ra-atuhu hammalata al-hatabi
— Transliteration
And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), or use to slander him

111:5
فِي fi In جِيدِهَا jidiha her neck حَبۡلٞ hablun (will be) a rope مِّن min of مَّسَدِۭ masadin palmfiber ٥
fi jidiha hablun min masadin
— Transliteration
In her neck is a twisted rope of Masad (palm fibre)
