52:1
وَٱلطُّورِ wal-turi By the Mount ١
wal-turi
— Transliteration
By the Mount

52:2
وَكِتَٰبٖ wakitabin And by (the) Book مَّسۡطُورٖ masturin written ٢
wakitabin masturin
— Transliteration
And by the Book Inscribed

52:3
فِي fi In رَقّٖ raqqin parchment مَّنشُورٖ manshurin unrolled ٣
fi raqqin manshurin
— Transliteration
In parchment unrolled

52:4
وَٱلۡبَيۡتِ wal-bayti By the House ٱلۡمَعۡمُورِ al-ma'muri frequented ٤
wal-bayti al-ma'muri
— Transliteration
And by the Bait-ul-Ma'mur (the house over the heavens parable to the Ka'bah at Makkah, continuously visited by the angels)

52:5
وَٱلسَّقۡفِ wal-saqfi By the roof ٱلۡمَرۡفُوعِ al-marfu'i raised high ٥
wal-saqfi al-marfu'i
— Transliteration
And by the roof raised high (i.e. the heaven)

52:6
وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ wal-bahri By the sea ٱلۡمَسۡجُورِ al-masjuri filled ٦
wal-bahri al-masjuri
— Transliteration
And by the sea kept filled (or it will be fire kindled on the Day of Resurrection)

52:7
إِنَّ inna Indeed عَذَابَ adhaba (the) punishment رَبِّكَ rabbika (of) your Lord لَوَٰقِعٞ lawaqi'un (will) surely occur ٧
inna adhaba rabbika lawaqi'un
— Transliteration
Verily, the Torment of your Lord will surely come to pass

52:8
مَّا ma Not لَهُۥ lahu for it مِن min any دَافِعٖ dafi'in preventer ٨
ma lahu min dafi'in
— Transliteration
There is none that can avert it

52:9
يَوۡمَ yawma (On the) Day تَمُورُ tamuru will shake ٱلسَّمَآءُ al-samau the heaven مَوۡرٗا mawran (with violent) shake ٩
yawma tamuru al-samau mawran
— Transliteration
On the Day when the heaven will shake with a dreadful shaking

52:10
وَتَسِيرُ watasiru And will move away ٱلۡجِبَالُ al-jibalu the mountains سَيۡرٗا sayran (with an awful) movement ١٠
watasiru al-jibalu sayran
— Transliteration
And the mountains will move away with a (horrible) movement
