35:1
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ al-hamdu All praises لِلَّهِ lillahi (be) to Allah فَاطِرِ fatiri Originator ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ al-samawati (of) the heavens وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ wal-ardi and the earth جَاعِلِ ja'ili (Who) makes ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ al-malaikati the Angels رُسُلًا rusulan messengers أُوْلِيٓ uli having wings أَجۡنِحَةٖ ajnihatin having wings مَّثۡنَىٰ mathna two وَثُلَٰثَ wathulatha or three وَرُبَٰعَۚ waruba'a or four يَزِيدُ yazidu He increases فِي fi in ٱلۡخَلۡقِ al-khalqi the creation مَا ma what يَشَآءُۚ yashau He wills إِنَّ inna Indeed ٱللَّهَ al-laha Allah عَلَىٰ ala (is) on كُلِّ kulli every شَيۡءٖ shayin thing قَدِيرٞ qadirun AllPowerful ١
al-hamdu lillahi fatiri al-samawati wal-ardi ja'ili al-malaikati rusulan uli ajnihatin mathna wathulatha waruba'a yazidu fi al-khalqi ma yashau inna al-laha ala kulli shayin qadirun
— Transliteration
All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the (only) Originator [or the (only) Creator] of the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels messengers with wings, - two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Verily, Allah is Able to do all things

35:2
مَّا ma What يَفۡتَحِ yaftahi Allah grants ٱللَّهُ al-lahu Allah grants لِلنَّاسِ lilnnasi to mankind مِن min of رَّحۡمَةٖ rahmatin Mercy فَلَا fala then none مُمۡسِكَ mum'sika (can) withhold لَهَاۖ laha it وَمَا wama And what يُمۡسِكۡ yum'sik He withholds فَلَا fala then none مُرۡسِلَ mur'sila (can) release لَهُۥ lahu it مِنۢ min thereafter بَعۡدِهِۦۚ ba'dihi thereafter وَهُوَ wahuwa And He ٱلۡعَزِيزُ al-'azizu (is) the AllMighty ٱلۡحَكِيمُ al-hakimu the AllWise ٢
ma yaftahi al-lahu lilnnasi min rahmatin fala mum'sika laha wama yum'sik fala mur'sila lahu min ba'dihi wahuwa al-'azizu al-hakimu
— Transliteration
Whatever of mercy (i.e. of good), Allah may grant to mankind, none can withhold it, and whatever He may withhold, none can grant it thereafter. And He is the AllMighty, the AllWise

35:3
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا yaayyuha O ٱلنَّاسُ al-nasu mankind! ٱذۡكُرُواْ udh'kuru Remember نِعۡمَتَ ni'mata (the) Favor ٱللَّهِ al-lahi (of) Allah عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ alaykum upon you هَلۡ hal Is مِنۡ min (there) any خَٰلِقٍ khaliqin creator غَيۡرُ ghayru other (than) Allah ٱللَّهِ al-lahi other (than) Allah يَرۡزُقُكُم yarzuqukum who provides for you مِّنَ mina from ٱلسَّمَآءِ al-samai the sky وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ wal-ardi and the earth? لَآ la (There is) no إِلَٰهَ ilaha god إِلَّا illa but هُوَۖ huwa He فَأَنَّىٰ fa-anna Then how تُؤۡفَكُونَ tu'fakuna (are) you deluded? ٣
yaayyuha al-nasu udh'kuru ni'mata al-lahi alaykum hal min khaliqin ghayru al-lahi yarzuqukum mina al-samai wal-ardi la ilaha illa huwa fa-anna tu'fakuna
— Transliteration
O mankind! Remember the Grace of Allah upon you! Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the sky (rain) and the earth? La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turning away (from Him)

35:4
وَإِن wa-in And if يُكَذِّبُوكَ yukadhibuka they deny you فَقَدۡ faqad then certainly كُذِّبَتۡ kudhibat were denied رُسُلٞ rusulun Messengers مِّن min before you قَبۡلِكَۚ qablika before you وَإِلَى wa-ila And to ٱللَّهِ al-lahi Allah تُرۡجَعُ tur'ja'u return ٱلۡأُمُورُ al-umuru the matters ٤
wa-in yukadhibuka faqad kudhibat rusulun min qablika wa-ila al-lahi tur'ja'u al-umuru
— Transliteration
And if they belie you (O Muhammad SAW), so were Messengers belied before you. And to Allah return all matters (for decision)

35:5
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا yaayyuha O ٱلنَّاسُ al-nasu mankind! إِنَّ inna Indeed وَعۡدَ wa'da (the) promise ٱللَّهِ al-lahi (of) Allah حَقّٞۖ haqqun (is) true فَلَا fala So (let) not تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ taghurrannakumu deceive you ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ al-hayatu the life ٱلدُّنۡيَا al-dun'ya (of) the world وَلَا wala and (let) not يَغُرَّنَّكُم yaghurrannakum deceive you بِٱللَّهِ bil-lahi about Allah ٱلۡغَرُورُ al-gharuru the Deceiver ٥
yaayyuha al-nasu inna wa'da al-lahi haqqun fala taghurrannakumu al-hayatu al-dun'ya wala yaghurrannakum bil-lahi al-gharuru
— Transliteration
O mankind! Verily, the Promise of Allah is true. So let not this present life deceive you, and let not the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah

35:6
إِنَّ inna Indeed ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ al-shaytana the Shaitaan لَكُمۡ lakum (is) to you عَدُوّٞ aduwwun an enemy فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ fa-ittakhidhuhu so take him عَدُوًّاۚ aduwwan (as) an enemy إِنَّمَا innama Only يَدۡعُواْ yad'u he invites حِزۡبَهُۥ hiz'bahu his party لِيَكُونُواْ liyakunu that they may be مِنۡ min among أَصۡحَٰبِ ashabi (the) companions ٱلسَّعِيرِ al-sa'iri (of) the Blaze ٦
inna al-shaytana lakum aduwwun fa-ittakhidhuhu aduwwan innama yad'u hiz'bahu liyakunu min ashabi al-sa'iri
— Transliteration
Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his Hizb (followers) that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire

35:7
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhina Those who كَفَرُواْ kafaru disbelieve لَهُمۡ lahum for them عَذَابٞ adhabun (will be) a punishment شَدِيدٞۖ shadidun severe وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhina and those ءَامَنُواْ amanu who believe وَعَمِلُواْ wa'amilu and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ al-salihati righteous deeds لَهُم lahum for them مَّغۡفِرَةٞ maghfiratun (will be) forgiveness وَأَجۡرٞ wa-ajrun and a reward كَبِيرٌ kabirun great ٧
alladhina kafaru lahum adhabun shadidun wa-alladhina amanu wa'amilu al-salihati lahum maghfiratun wa-ajrun kabirun
— Transliteration
Those who disbelieve, theirs will be a severe torment; and those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise)

35:8
أَفَمَن afaman Then is (he) who زُيِّنَ zuyyina is made fairseeming لَهُۥ lahu to him سُوٓءُ suu (the) evil عَمَلِهِۦ amalihi (of) his deed فَرَءَاهُ faraahu so that he sees it حَسَنٗاۖ hasanan (as) good? فَإِنَّ fa-inna For indeed ٱللَّهَ al-laha Allah يُضِلُّ yudillu lets go astray مَن man whom يَشَآءُ yashau He wills وَيَهۡدِي wayahdi and guides مَن man whom يَشَآءُۖ yashau He wills فَلَا fala So (let) not تَذۡهَبۡ tadhhab go out نَفۡسُكَ nafsuka your soul عَلَيۡهِمۡ alayhim for them حَسَرَٰتٍۚ hasaratin (in) regrets إِنَّ inna Indeed ٱللَّهَ al-laha Allah عَلِيمُۢ alimun (is) AllKnower بِمَا bima of what يَصۡنَعُونَ yasna'una they do ٨
afaman zuyyina lahu suu amalihi faraahu hasanan fa-inna al-laha yudillu man yashau wayahdi man yashau fala tadhhab nafsuka alayhim hasaratin inna al-laha alimun bima yasna'una
— Transliteration
Is he, then, to whom the evil of his deeds made fairseeming, so that he considers it as good (equal to one who is rightly guided)? Verily, Allah sends astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. So destroy not yourself (O Muhammad SAW) in sorrow for them. Truly, Allah is the AllKnower of what they do

35:9
وَٱللَّهُ wal-lahu And Allah ٱلَّذِيٓ alladhi (is) the One Who أَرۡسَلَ arsala sends ٱلرِّيَٰحَ al-riyaha the winds فَتُثِيرُ fatuthiru so that they raise سَحَابٗا sahaban (the) clouds فَسُقۡنَٰهُ fasuq'nahu and We drive them إِلَىٰ ila to بَلَدٖ baladin a land مَّيِّتٖ mayyitin dead فَأَحۡيَيۡنَا fa-ahyayna and We revive بِهِ bihi therewith ٱلۡأَرۡضَ al-arda the earth بَعۡدَ ba'da after مَوۡتِهَاۚ mawtiha its death كَذَٰلِكَ kadhalika Thus ٱلنُّشُورُ al-nushuru (will be) the Resurrection ٩
wal-lahu alladhi arsala al-riyaha fatuthiru sahaban fasuq'nahu ila baladin mayyitin fa-ahyayna bihi al-arda ba'da mawtiha kadhalika al-nushuru
— Transliteration
And it is Allah Who sends the winds, so that they raise up the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land, and revive therewith the earth after its death. As such (will be) the Resurrection

35:10
مَن man Whoever كَانَ kana [is] desires يُرِيدُ yuridu [is] desires ٱلۡعِزَّةَ al-'izata the honor فَلِلَّهِ falillahi then for Allah ٱلۡعِزَّةُ al-'izatu (is) the Honor جَمِيعًاۚ jami'an all إِلَيۡهِ ilayhi To Him يَصۡعَدُ yas'adu ascends ٱلۡكَلِمُ al-kalimu the words ٱلطَّيِّبُ al-tayibu good وَٱلۡعَمَلُ wal-'amalu and the deed ٱلصَّٰلِحُ al-salihu righteous يَرۡفَعُهُۥۚ yarfa'uhu raises it وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhina But those who يَمۡكُرُونَ yamkuruna plot ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ al-sayiati the evil لَهُمۡ lahum for them عَذَابٞ adhabun (is) a punishment شَدِيدٞۖ shadidun severe وَمَكۡرُ wamakru and (the) plotting أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ulaika (of) those هُوَ huwa it يَبُورُ yaburu (will) perish ١٠
man kana yuridu al-'izata falillahi al-'izatu jami'an ilayhi yas'adu al-kalimu al-tayibu wal-'amalu al-salihu yarfa'uhu wa-alladhina yamkuruna al-sayiati lahum adhabun shadidun wamakru ulaika huwa yaburu
— Transliteration
Whosoever desires honour, power and glory then to Allah belong all honour, power and glory [and one can get honour, power and glory only by obeying and worshipping Allah (Alone)]. To Him ascend (all) the goodly words, and the righteous deeds exalt it (the goodly words i.e. the goodly words are not accepted by Allah unless and until they are followed by good deeds), but those who plot evils, theirs will be severe torment. And the plotting of such will perish
