57:1
سَبَّحَ sabbaha Glorifies لِلَّهِ lillahi [to] Allah مَا ma whatever فِي fi (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ al-samawati the heavens وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ wal-ardi and the earth وَهُوَ wahuwa and He ٱلۡعَزِيزُ al-'azizu (is) the AllMighty ٱلۡحَكِيمُ al-hakimu the AllWise ١
sabbaha lillahi ma fi al-samawati wal-ardi wahuwa al-'azizu al-hakimu
— Transliteration
Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise

57:2
لَهُۥ lahu For Him مُلۡكُ mul'ku (is the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ al-samawati (of) the heavens وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ wal-ardi and the earth يُحۡيِۦ yuh'yi He gives life وَيُمِيتُۖ wayumitu and causes death وَهُوَ wahuwa and He عَلَىٰ ala (is) over كُلِّ kulli all شَيۡءٖ shayin things قَدِيرٌ qadirun AllPowerful ٢
lahu mul'ku al-samawati wal-ardi yuh'yi wayumitu wahuwa ala kulli shayin qadirun
— Transliteration
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, It is He Who gives life and causes death; and He is Able to do all things

57:3
هُوَ huwa He ٱلۡأَوَّلُ al-awalu (is) the First وَٱلۡأٓخِرُ wal-akhiru and the Last وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ wal-zahiru and the Apparent وَٱلۡبَاطِنُۖ wal-batinu and the Unapparent وَهُوَ wahuwa and He بِكُلِّ bikulli (is) of every شَيۡءٍ shayin thing عَلِيمٌ alimun AllKnower ٣
huwa al-awalu wal-akhiru wal-zahiru wal-batinu wahuwa bikulli shayin alimun
— Transliteration
He is the First (nothing is before Him) and the Last (nothing is after Him), the Most High (nothing is above Him) and the Most Near (nothing is nearer than Him). And He is the All-Knower of every thing

57:4
هُوَ huwa He ٱلَّذِي alladhi (is) the One Who خَلَقَ khalaqa created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ al-samawati the heavens وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ wal-arda and the earth فِي fi in سِتَّةِ sittati six أَيَّامٖ ayyamin periods ثُمَّ thumma then ٱسۡتَوَىٰ is'tawa He rose عَلَى ala over ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ al-'arshi the Throne يَعۡلَمُ ya'lamu He knows مَا ma what يَلِجُ yaliju penetrates فِي fi in(to) ٱلۡأَرۡضِ al-ardi the earth وَمَا wama and what يَخۡرُجُ yakhruju comes forth مِنۡهَا min'ha from it وَمَا wama and what يَنزِلُ yanzilu descends مِنَ mina from ٱلسَّمَآءِ al-samai the heaven وَمَا wama and what يَعۡرُجُ ya'ruju ascends فِيهَاۖ fiha therein وَهُوَ wahuwa and He مَعَكُمۡ ma'akum (is) with you أَيۡنَ ayna wherever مَا ma wherever كُنتُمۡۚ kuntum you are وَٱللَّهُ wal-lahu And Allah بِمَا bima of what تَعۡمَلُونَ ta'maluna you do بَصِيرٞ basirun (is) Allseer ٤
huwa alladhi khalaqa al-samawati wal-arda fi sittati ayyamin thumma is'tawa ala al-'arshi ya'lamu ma yaliju fi al-ardi wama yakhruju min'ha wama yanzilu mina al-samai wama ya'ruju fiha wahuwa ma'akum ayna ma kuntum wal-lahu bima ta'maluna basirun
— Transliteration
He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and then Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). He knows what goes into the earth and what comes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends thereto. And He is with you (by His Knowledge) wheresoever you may be. And Allah is the All-Seer of what you do

57:5
لَّهُۥ lahu For Him مُلۡكُ mul'ku (is the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ al-samawati (of) the heavens وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ wal-ardi and the earth وَإِلَى wa-ila and to ٱللَّهِ al-lahi Allah تُرۡجَعُ tur'ja'u will be returned ٱلۡأُمُورُ al-umuru the matters ٥
lahu mul'ku al-samawati wal-ardi wa-ila al-lahi tur'ja'u al-umuru
— Transliteration
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah return all the matters (for decision)

57:6
يُولِجُ yuliju He merges ٱلَّيۡلَ al-layla the night فِي fi into ٱلنَّهَارِ al-nahari the day وَيُولِجُ wayuliju and He merges ٱلنَّهَارَ al-nahara the day فِي fi into ٱلَّيۡلِۚ al-layli the night وَهُوَ wahuwa and He عَلِيمُۢ alimun (is) AllKnower بِذَاتِ bidhati of what is in ٱلصُّدُورِ al-suduri the breasts ٦
yuliju al-layla fi al-nahari wayuliju al-nahara fi al-layli wahuwa alimun bidhati al-suduri
— Transliteration
He merges night into day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night is added into the hours of the day), and merges day into night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added into the hours of the night), and He has full knowledge of whatsoever is in the breasts

57:7
ءَامِنُواْ aminu Believe بِٱللَّهِ bil-lahi in Allah وَرَسُولِهِۦ warasulihi and His Messenger وَأَنفِقُواْ wa-anfiqu and spend مِمَّا mimma of what جَعَلَكُم ja'alakum He has made you مُّسۡتَخۡلَفِينَ mus'takhlafina trustees فِيهِۖ fihi therein فَٱلَّذِينَ fa-alladhina And those ءَامَنُواْ amanu who believe مِنكُمۡ minkum among you وَأَنفَقُواْ wa-anfaqu and spend لَهُمۡ lahum for them أَجۡرٞ ajrun (is) a reward كَبِيرٞ kabirun great ٧
aminu bil-lahi warasulihi wa-anfiqu mimma ja'alakum mus'takhlafina fihi fa-alladhina amanu minkum wa-anfaqu lahum ajrun kabirun
— Transliteration
Believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in Allah's Way), theirs will be a great reward

57:8
وَمَا wama And what لَكُمۡ lakum (is) for you لَا la (that) not تُؤۡمِنُونَ tu'minuna you believe بِٱللَّهِ bil-lahi in Allah وَٱلرَّسُولُ wal-rasulu while the Messenger يَدۡعُوكُمۡ yad'ukum calls you لِتُؤۡمِنُواْ litu'minu that you believe بِرَبِّكُمۡ birabbikum in your Lord وَقَدۡ waqad and indeed أَخَذَ akhadha He has taken مِيثَٰقَكُمۡ mithaqakum your covenant إِن in if كُنتُم kuntum you are مُّؤۡمِنِينَ mu'minina believers ٨
wama lakum la tu'minuna bil-lahi wal-rasulu yad'ukum litu'minu birabbikum waqad akhadha mithaqakum in kuntum mu'minina
— Transliteration
And what is the matter with you that you believe not in Allah! While the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) invites you to believe in your Lord (Allah), and He (Allah) has indeed taken your covenant, if you are real believers

57:9
هُوَ huwa He ٱلَّذِي alladhi (is) the One Who يُنَزِّلُ yunazzilu sends down عَلَىٰ ala upon عَبۡدِهِۦٓ abdihi His slave ءَايَٰتِۭ ayatin Verses بَيِّنَٰتٖ bayyinatin clear لِّيُخۡرِجَكُم liyukh'rijakum that He may bring you out مِّنَ mina from ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ al-zulumati the darkness[es] إِلَى ila into ٱلنُّورِۚ al-nuri the light وَإِنَّ wa-inna And indeed ٱللَّهَ al-laha Allah بِكُمۡ bikum to you لَرَءُوفٞ laraufun (is the) Most Kind رَّحِيمٞ rahimun (the) Most Merciful ٩
huwa alladhi yunazzilu ala abdihi ayatin bayyinatin liyukh'rijakum mina al-zulumati ila al-nuri wa-inna al-laha bikum laraufun rahimun
— Transliteration
It is He Who sends down manifest Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to His slave (Muhammad SAW) that He may bring you out from darkness into light. And verily, Allah is to you full of kindness, Most Merciful

57:10
وَمَا wama And what لَكُمۡ lakum (is) for you أَلَّا alla that not تُنفِقُواْ tunfiqu you spend فِي fi in سَبِيلِ sabili (the) way ٱللَّهِ al-lahi (of) Allah? وَلِلَّهِ walillahi while for Allah مِيرَٰثُ mirathu (is the) heritage ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ al-samawati (of) the heavens وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ wal-ardi and the earth? لَا la Not يَسۡتَوِي yastawi are equal مِنكُم minkum among you مَّنۡ man (those) who أَنفَقَ anfaqa spent مِن min before قَبۡلِ qabli before ٱلۡفَتۡحِ al-fathi the victory وَقَٰتَلَۚ waqatala and fought أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ulaika Those أَعۡظَمُ a'zamu (are) greater دَرَجَةٗ darajatan (in) degree مِّنَ mina than ٱلَّذِينَ alladhina those who أَنفَقُواْ anfaqu spent مِنۢ min afterwards بَعۡدُ ba'du afterwards وَقَٰتَلُواْۚ waqatalu and fought وَكُلّٗا wakullan But to all وَعَدَ wa'ada Allah has promised ٱللَّهُ al-lahu Allah has promised ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ al-hus'na the best وَٱللَّهُ wal-lahu And Allah بِمَا bima of what تَعۡمَلُونَ ta'maluna you do خَبِيرٞ khabirun (is) AllAware ١٠
wama lakum alla tunfiqu fi sabili al-lahi walillahi mirathu al-samawati wal-ardi la yastawi minkum man anfaqa min qabli al-fathi waqatala ulaika a'zamu darajatan mina alladhina anfaqu min ba'du waqatalu wakullan wa'ada al-lahu al-hus'na wal-lahu bima ta'maluna khabirun
— Transliteration
And what is the matter with you that you spend not in the Cause of Allah? And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent and fought before the conquering (of Makkah) (with those among you who did so later). Such are higher in degree than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to all, Allah has promised the best (reward). And Allah is All-Aware of what you do
