45:1
حمٓ ha-meem Ha Meem ١
ha-meem
— Transliteration
Ha-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings

45:2
تَنزِيلُ tanzilu (The) revelation ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ al-kitabi (of) the Book مِنَ mina (is) from ٱللَّهِ al-lahi Allah ٱلۡعَزِيزِ al-'azizi the AllMighty ٱلۡحَكِيمِ al-hakimi the AllWise ٢
tanzilu al-kitabi mina al-lahi al-'azizi al-hakimi
— Transliteration
The revelation of the Book (this Quran) is from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise

45:3
إِنَّ inna Indeed فِي fi in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ al-samawati the heavens وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ wal-ardi and the earth لَأٓيَٰتٖ laayatin surely (are) Signs لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ lil'mu'minina for the believers ٣
inna fi al-samawati wal-ardi laayatin lil'mu'minina
— Transliteration
Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers

45:4
وَفِي wafi And in خَلۡقِكُمۡ khalqikum your creation وَمَا wama and what يَبُثُّ yabuthu He disperses مِن min of دَآبَّةٍ dabbatin (the) moving creatures ءَايَٰتٞ ayatun (are) Signs لِّقَوۡمٖ liqawmin for a people يُوقِنُونَ yuqinuna who are certain ٤
wafi khalqikum wama yabuthu min dabbatin ayatun liqawmin yuqinuna
— Transliteration
And in your creation, and what He scattered (through the earth) of moving (living) creatures are signs for people who have Faith with certainty

45:5
وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ wa-ikh'tilafi And (in the) alternation ٱلَّيۡلِ al-layli (of) the night وَٱلنَّهَارِ wal-nahari and the day وَمَآ wama and what أَنزَلَ anzala Allah sends down ٱللَّهُ al-lahu Allah sends down مِنَ mina from ٱلسَّمَآءِ al-samai the sky مِن min of رِّزۡقٖ riz'qin (the) provision فَأَحۡيَا fa-ahya and gives life بِهِ bihi thereby ٱلۡأَرۡضَ al-arda (to) the earth بَعۡدَ ba'da after مَوۡتِهَا mawtiha its death وَتَصۡرِيفِ watasrifi and (in) directing ٱلرِّيَٰحِ al-riyahi (the) winds ءَايَٰتٞ ayatun (are) Signs لِّقَوۡمٖ liqawmin for a people يَعۡقِلُونَ ya'qiluna who reason ٥
wa-ikh'tilafi al-layli wal-nahari wama anzala al-lahu mina al-samai min riz'qin fa-ahya bihi al-arda ba'da mawtiha watasrifi al-riyahi ayatun liqawmin ya'qiluna
— Transliteration
And in the alternation of night and day, and the provision (rain) that Allah sends down from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the turning about of the winds (i.e. sometimes towards the east or north, and sometimes towards the south or west etc., sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain etc., and sometimes bringing the torment), are signs for a people who understand

45:6
تِلۡكَ til'ka These ءَايَٰتُ ayatu (are the) Verses ٱللَّهِ al-lahi (of) Allah نَتۡلُوهَا natluha We recite them عَلَيۡكَ alayka to you بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ bil-haqi in truth فَبِأَيِّ fabi-ayyi Then in what حَدِيثِۭ hadithin statement بَعۡدَ ba'da after ٱللَّهِ al-lahi Allah وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ waayatihi and His Verses يُؤۡمِنُونَ yu'minuna will they believe? ٦
til'ka ayatu al-lahi natluha alayka bil-haqi fabi-ayyi hadithin ba'da al-lahi waayatihi yu'minuna
— Transliteration
These are the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.) of Allah, which We recite to you (O Muhammad SAW) with truth. Then in which speech after Allah and His Ayat will they believe

45:7
وَيۡلٞ waylun Woe لِّكُلِّ likulli to every أَفَّاكٍ affakin liar أَثِيمٖ athimin sinful ٧
waylun likulli affakin athimin
— Transliteration
Woe to every sinful liar

45:8
يَسۡمَعُ yasma'u Who hears ءَايَٰتِ ayati (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ al-lahi (of) Allah تُتۡلَىٰ tut'la recited عَلَيۡهِ alayhi to him ثُمَّ thumma then يُصِرُّ yusirru persists مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا mus'takbiran arrogantly كَأَن ka-an as if لَّمۡ lam not يَسۡمَعۡهَاۖ yasma'ha he heard them فَبَشِّرۡهُ fabashir'hu So give him tidings بِعَذَابٍ bi'adhabin (of) a punishment أَلِيمٖ alimin painful ٨
yasma'u ayati al-lahi tut'la alayhi thumma yusirru mus'takbiran ka-an lam yasma'ha fabashir'hu bi'adhabin alimin
— Transliteration
Who hears the Verses of Allah (being) recited to him, yet persists with pride as if he heard them not. So announce to him a painful torment

45:9
وَإِذَا wa-idha And when عَلِمَ alima he knows مِنۡ min of ءَايَٰتِنَا ayatina Our Verses شَيۡـًٔا shayan anything ٱتَّخَذَهَا ittakhadhaha he takes them هُزُوًاۚ huzuwan (in) ridicule أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ulaika Those لَهُمۡ lahum for them عَذَابٞ adhabun (is) a punishment مُّهِينٞ muhinun humiliating ٩
wa-idha alima min ayatina shayan ittakhadhaha huzuwan ulaika lahum adhabun muhinun
— Transliteration
And when he learns something of Our Verses (this Quran), he makes them a jest. For such there will be a humiliating torment

45:10
مِّن min Before them وَرَآئِهِمۡ waraihim Before them جَهَنَّمُۖ jahannamu (is) Hell وَلَا wala and not يُغۡنِي yugh'ni will avail عَنۡهُم anhum them مَّا ma what كَسَبُواْ kasabu they had earned شَيۡـٔٗا shayan anything وَلَا wala and not مَا ma what ٱتَّخَذُواْ ittakhadhu they had taken مِن min besides دُونِ duni besides ٱللَّهِ al-lahi Allah أَوۡلِيَآءَۖ awliyaa (as) protectors وَلَهُمۡ walahum And for them عَذَابٌ adhabun (is) a punishment عَظِيمٌ azimun great ١٠
min waraihim jahannamu wala yugh'ni anhum ma kasabu shayan wala ma ittakhadhu min duni al-lahi awliyaa walahum adhabun azimun
— Transliteration
In front of them there is Hell, and that which they have earned will be of no profit to them, nor (will be of any profit to them) those whom they have taken as Auliya' (protectors, helpers, etc.) besides Allah. And theirs will be a great torment
