23:1
قَدۡ qad Indeed أَفۡلَحَ aflaha successful ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ al-mu'minuna (are) the believers ١
qad aflaha al-mu'minuna
— Transliteration
Successful indeed are the believers

23:2
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhina Those who هُمۡ hum [they] فِي fi during صَلَاتِهِمۡ salatihim their prayers خَٰشِعُونَ khashi'una (are) humbly submissive ٢
alladhina hum fi salatihim khashi'una
— Transliteration
Those who offer their Salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness

23:3
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhina Those who هُمۡ hum [they] عَنِ ani from ٱللَّغۡوِ al-laghwi the vain talk مُعۡرِضُونَ mu'riduna turn away ٣
wa-alladhina hum ani al-laghwi mu'riduna
— Transliteration
And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden)

23:4
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhina Those who هُمۡ hum [they] لِلزَّكَوٰةِ lilzzakati of purification works فَٰعِلُونَ fa'iluna (are) doers ٤
wa-alladhina hum lilzzakati fa'iluna
— Transliteration
And those who pay the Zakat

23:5
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhina And those who هُمۡ hum [they] لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ lifurujihim of their modesty حَٰفِظُونَ hafizuna (are) guardians ٥
wa-alladhina hum lifurujihim hafizuna
— Transliteration
And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts)

23:6
إِلَّا illa Except عَلَىٰٓ ala from أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ azwajihim their spouses أَوۡ aw or مَا ma what مَلَكَتۡ malakat possess أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ aymanuhum their right hands فَإِنَّهُمۡ fa-innahum then indeed they غَيۡرُ ghayru (are) not مَلُومِينَ malumina blameworthy ٦
illa ala azwajihim aw ma malakat aymanuhum fa-innahum ghayru malumina
— Transliteration
Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame

23:7
فَمَنِ famani Then whoever ٱبۡتَغَىٰ ib'tagha seeks وَرَآءَ waraa beyond ذَٰلِكَ dhalika that فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ fa-ulaika then those هُمُ humu [they] ٱلۡعَادُونَ al-'aduna (are) the transgressors ٧
famani ib'tagha waraa dhalika fa-ulaika humu al-'aduna
— Transliteration
But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors

23:8
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhina And those who هُمۡ hum [they] لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ li-amanatihim of their trusts وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ wa'ahdihim and their promise(s) رَٰعُونَ ra'una (are) observers ٨
wa-alladhina hum li-amanatihim wa'ahdihim ra'una
— Transliteration
Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants

23:9
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhina And those who هُمۡ hum [they] عَلَىٰ ala over صَلَوَٰتِهِمۡ salawatihim their prayers يُحَافِظُونَ yuhafizuna they guard ٩
wa-alladhina hum ala salawatihim yuhafizuna
— Transliteration
And those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salawat (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours)

23:10
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ulaika Those هُمُ humu [they] ٱلۡوَٰرِثُونَ al-warithuna (are) the inheritors ١٠
ulaika humu al-warithuna
— Transliteration
These are indeed the inheritors

Al Muminoon (The Believers)
