11:1
الٓرۚalif-lam-raAlif Lam Raكِتَٰبٌkitabun(This is) a Bookأُحۡكِمَتۡuh'kimatare perfectedءَايَٰتُهُۥayatuhuits Versesثُمَّthummamoreoverفُصِّلَتۡfussilatexplained in detailمِنminfrom (he One Who)لَّدُنۡladunfrom (he One Who)حَكِيمٍhakimin(is) AllWiseخَبِيرٍkhabirinAllAware١
Alif-Lam-Ra. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. (This is) a Book, the Verses whereof are perfected (in every sphere of knowledge, etc.), and then explained in detail from One (Allah), Who is All-Wise and Well-Acquainted (with all things) — English - Hilali & Khan
11:2
أَلَّاallaThat Notتَعۡبُدُوٓاْta'buduyou worshipإِلَّاillabutٱللَّهَۚal-lahaAllahإِنَّنِيinnaniIndeed I amلَكُمlakumto youمِّنۡهُmin'hufrom Himنَذِيرٞnadhiruna warnerوَبَشِيرٞwabashirunand a bearer of glad tidings٢
alla ta'budu illa al-laha innani lakum min'hu nadhirun wabashirun — Transliteration
(Saying) worship none but Allah. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am unto you from Him a warner and a bringer of glad tidings — English - Hilali & Khan
11:3
وَأَنِwa-aniAnd thatٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْis'taghfiruSeek forgivenessرَبَّكُمۡrabbakum(of) your Lordثُمَّthummaandتُوبُوٓاْtubuturn in repentanceإِلَيۡهِilayhito Himيُمَتِّعۡكُمyumatti'kumHe will let youمَّتَٰعًاmata'anenjoyحَسَنًاhasanana goodإِلَىٰٓilaforأَجَلٖajalina termمُّسَمّٗىmusammanappointedوَيُؤۡتِwayu'tiAnd giveكُلَّkulla(to) everyذِيdhiownerفَضۡلٖfadlin(of) graceفَضۡلَهُۥۖfadlahuHis Graceوَإِنwa-inBut ifتَوَلَّوۡاْtawallawyou turn awayفَإِنِّيٓfa-innithen indeed Iأَخَافُakhafufearعَلَيۡكُمۡalaykumfor youعَذَابَadhaba(the) punishmentيَوۡمٖyawmin(of) a Great Dayكَبِيرٍkabirin(of) a Great Day٣
And (commanding you): "Seek the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance, that He may grant you good enjoyment, for a term appointed, and bestow His abounding Grace to every owner of grace (i.e. the one who helps and serves needy and deserving, physically and with his wealth, and even with good words). But if you turn away, then I fear for you the torment of a Great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) — English - Hilali & Khan
11:4
إِلَىilaToٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahمَرۡجِعُكُمۡۖmarji'ukum(is) your returnوَهُوَwahuwaand Heعَلَىٰala(is) onكُلِّkullieveryشَيۡءٖshayinthingقَدِيرٌqadirunAllPowerful٤
ila al-lahi marji'ukum wahuwa ala kulli shayin qadirun — Transliteration
To Allah is your return, and He is Able to do all things — English - Hilali & Khan
11:5
أَلَآalaNo doubt!إِنَّهُمۡinnahumTheyيَثۡنُونَyathnunafold upصُدُورَهُمۡsudurahumtheir breastsلِيَسۡتَخۡفُواْliyastakhfuthat they may hideمِنۡهُۚmin'hufrom HimأَلَاalaSurelyحِينَhinawhenيَسۡتَغۡشُونَyastaghshunathey cover (themselves)ثِيَابَهُمۡthiyabahum(with) their garmentsيَعۡلَمُya'lamuHe knowsمَاmawhatيُسِرُّونَyusirrunathey concealوَمَاwamaand whatيُعۡلِنُونَۚyu'linunathey revealإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed Heعَلِيمُۢalimun(is) AllKnowerبِذَاتِbidhatiof whatٱلصُّدُورِal-suduri(is in) the breasts٥
ala innahum yathnuna sudurahum liyastakhfu min'hu ala hina yastaghshuna thiyabahum ya'lamu ma yusirruna wama yu'linuna innahu alimun bidhati al-suduri — Transliteration
No doubt! They did fold up their breasts, that they may hide from Him. Surely, even when they cover themselves with their garments, He knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Verily, He is the All-Knower of the (innermost secrets) of the breasts — English - Hilali & Khan

۞وَمَاwamaAnd notمِنminanyدَآبَّةٖdabbatinmoving creatureفِيfiinٱلۡأَرۡضِal-ardithe earthإِلَّاillabutعَلَىalaonٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahرِزۡقُهَاriz'quha(is) its provisionوَيَعۡلَمُwaya'lamuAnd He knowsمُسۡتَقَرَّهَاmus'taqarrahaits dwelling placeوَمُسۡتَوۡدَعَهَاۚwamus'tawda'ahaand its place of storageكُلّٞkullunAllفِيfi(is) inكِتَٰبٖkitabina Recordمُّبِينٖmubininclear٦
wama min dabbatin fi al-ardi illa ala al-lahi riz'quha waya'lamu mus'taqarraha wamus'tawda'aha kullun fi kitabin mubinin — Transliteration
And no (moving) living creature is there on earth but its provision is due from Allah. And He knows its dwelling place and its deposit (in the uterous, grave, etc.). all is in a Clear Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz - the Book of Decrees with Allah) — English - Hilali & Khan
11:7
وَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heٱلَّذِيalladhi(is) the One Whoخَلَقَkhalaqacreatedٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawatithe heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضَwal-ardaand the earthفِيfiinسِتَّةِsittatisixأَيَّامٖayyaminepochsوَكَانَwakanaand His throne wasعَرۡشُهُۥarshuhuand His throne wasعَلَىalaonٱلۡمَآءِal-maithe waterلِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡliyabluwakumthat He might test [you]أَيُّكُمۡayyukumwhich of youأَحۡسَنُahsanu(is) bestعَمَلٗاۗamalan(in) deedوَلَئِنwala-inBut ifقُلۡتَqul'tayou sayإِنَّكُمinnakumIndeed youمَّبۡعُوثُونَmab'uthuna(will be) resurrectedمِنۢminafterبَعۡدِba'diafterٱلۡمَوۡتِal-mawti[the] deathلَيَقُولَنَّlayaqulannasurely would sayٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُوٓاْkafarudisbelievedإِنۡinThis is notهَٰذَآhadhaThis is notإِلَّاillabutسِحۡرٞsih'runa magicمُّبِينٞmubinunclear٧
wahuwa alladhi khalaqa al-samawati wal-arda fi sittati ayyamin wakana arshuhu ala al-mai liyabluwakum ayyukum ahsanu amalan wala-in qul'ta innakum mab'uthuna min ba'di al-mawti layaqulanna alladhina kafaru in hadha illa sih'run mubinun — Transliteration
And He it is Who has created the heavens and the earth in six Days and His Throne was on the water, that He might try you, which of you is the best in deeds. But if you were to say to them: "You shall indeed be raised up after death," those who disbelieve would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious magic — English - Hilali & Khan
11:8
وَلَئِنۡwala-inAnd ifأَخَّرۡنَاakharnaWe delayعَنۡهُمُanhumufrom themٱلۡعَذَابَal-'adhabathe punishmentإِلَىٰٓilaforأُمَّةٖummatina timeمَّعۡدُودَةٖma'dudatindeterminedلَّيَقُولُنَّlayaqulunnathey will surely sayمَاmaWhatيَحۡبِسُهُۥٓۗyahbisuhudetains it?أَلَاalaNo doubt!يَوۡمَyawma(On) the Dayيَأۡتِيهِمۡyatihimit comes to themلَيۡسَlaysanotمَصۡرُوفًاmasrufan(will be) avertedعَنۡهُمۡanhumfrom themوَحَاقَwahaqaand will surroundبِهِمbihimthemمَّاmawhatكَانُواْkanuthey used (to)بِهِۦbihimock at [it]يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَyastahziunamock at [it]٨
wala-in akharna anhumu al-'adhaba ila ummatin ma'dudatin layaqulunna ma yahbisuhu ala yawma yatihim laysa masrufan anhum wahaqa bihim ma kanu bihi yastahziuna — Transliteration
And if We delay the torment for them till a determined term, they are sure to say, "What keeps it back?" Verily, on the day it reaches them, nothing will turn it away from them, and they will be surrounded by (fall in) that at which they used to mock — English - Hilali & Khan
11:9
وَلَئِنۡwala-inAnd ifأَذَقۡنَاadhaqnaWe give man a tasteٱلۡإِنسَٰنَal-insanaWe give man a tasteمِنَّاminna(of) Mercy from Usرَحۡمَةٗrahmatan(of) Mercy from Usثُمَّthummathenنَزَعۡنَٰهَاnaza'nahaWe withdraw itمِنۡهُmin'hufrom himإِنَّهُۥinnahuindeed heلَيَـُٔوسٞlayausun(is) despairingكَفُورٞkafurun(and) ungrateful٩
And if We give man a taste of Mercy from Us, and then withdraw it from him, verily! He is despairing, ungrateful — English - Hilali & Khan
11:10
وَلَئِنۡwala-inBut ifأَذَقۡنَٰهُadhaqnahuWe give him a tasteنَعۡمَآءَna'maa(of) favorبَعۡدَba'daafterضَرَّآءَdarraahardshipمَسَّتۡهُmassathu(has) touched himلَيَقُولَنَّlayaqulannasurely he will sayذَهَبَdhahabaHave goneٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتُal-sayiatuthe evilsعَنِّيٓۚannifrom meإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed heلَفَرِحٞlafarihun(is) exultantفَخُورٌfakhurun(and) boastful١٠
But if We let him taste good (favour) after evil (poverty and harm) has touched him, he is sure to say: "Ills have departed from me." Surely, he is exultant, and boastful (ungrateful to Allah) — English - Hilali & Khan
