— Transliteration

30:2
غُلِبَتِ ghulibati Have been defeated ٱلرُّومُ al-rumu the Romans ٢

— Transliteration

30:3
فِيٓ fi In أَدۡنَى adna (the) nearest ٱلۡأَرۡضِ al-ardi land وَهُم wahum But they مِّنۢ min after بَعۡدِ ba'di after غَلَبِهِمۡ ghalabihim their defeat سَيَغۡلِبُونَ sayaghlibuna will overcome ٣
fi adna al-ardi wahum min ba'di ghalabihim sayaghlibuna
— Transliteration

30:4
فِي fi Within بِضۡعِ bid'i a few سِنِينَۗ sinina years لِلَّهِ lillahi For Allah ٱلۡأَمۡرُ al-amru (is) the command مِن min before قَبۡلُ qablu before وَمِنۢ wamin and after بَعۡدُۚ ba'du and after وَيَوۡمَئِذٖ wayawma-idhin And that day يَفۡرَحُ yafrahu will rejoice ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ al-mu'minuna the believers ٤
fi bid'i sinina lillahi al-amru min qablu wamin ba'du wayawma-idhin yafrahu al-mu'minuna
— Transliteration

30:5
بِنَصۡرِ binasri With (the) help ٱللَّهِۚ al-lahi (of) Allah يَنصُرُ yansuru He helps مَن man whom يَشَآءُۖ yashau He wills وَهُوَ wahuwa And He ٱلۡعَزِيزُ al-'azizu (is) the AllMighty ٱلرَّحِيمُ al-rahimu the Most Merciful ٥
binasri al-lahi yansuru man yashau wahuwa al-'azizu al-rahimu

30:6
وَعۡدَ wa'da (It is the) Promise ٱللَّهِۖ al-lahi (of) Allah لَا la (Does) not يُخۡلِفُ yukh'lifu fail ٱللَّهُ al-lahu Allah وَعۡدَهُۥ wa'dahu (in) His promise وَلَٰكِنَّ walakinna but أَكۡثَرَ akthara most (of) ٱلنَّاسِ al-nasi [the] people لَا la (do) not يَعۡلَمُونَ ya'lamuna know ٦
wa'da al-lahi la yukh'lifu al-lahu wa'dahu walakinna akthara al-nasi la ya'lamuna
— Transliteration

30:7
يَعۡلَمُونَ ya'lamuna They know ظَٰهِرٗا zahiran (the) apparent مِّنَ mina of ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ al-hayati the life ٱلدُّنۡيَا al-dun'ya (of) the world وَهُمۡ wahum but they عَنِ ani about ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ al-akhirati the Hereafter هُمۡ hum [they] غَٰفِلُونَ ghafiluna (are) heedless ٧
ya'lamuna zahiran mina al-hayati al-dun'ya wahum ani al-akhirati hum ghafiluna
— Transliteration

30:8
أَوَلَمۡ awalam Do not يَتَفَكَّرُواْ yatafakkaru they ponder فِيٓ fi within أَنفُسِهِمۗ anfusihim themselves? مَّا ma Not خَلَقَ khalaqa Allah (has) created ٱللَّهُ al-lahu Allah (has) created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ al-samawati the heavens وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ wal-arda and the earth وَمَا wama and what بَيۡنَهُمَآ baynahuma (is) between them إِلَّا illa except بِٱلۡحَقِّ bil-haqi in truth وَأَجَلٖ wa-ajalin and (for) a term مُّسَمّٗىۗ musamman appointed وَإِنَّ wa-inna And indeed كَثِيرٗا kathiran many مِّنَ mina of ٱلنَّاسِ al-nasi the people بِلِقَآيِٕ biliqai in (the) meeting رَبِّهِمۡ rabbihim (with) their Lord لَكَٰفِرُونَ lakafiruna surely (are) disbelievers ٨
awalam yatafakkaru fi anfusihim ma khalaqa al-lahu al-samawati wal-arda wama baynahuma illa bil-haqi wa-ajalin musamman wa-inna kathiran mina al-nasi biliqai rabbihim lakafiruna
— Transliteration

30:9
أَوَلَمۡ awalam Have not يَسِيرُواْ yasiru they traveled فِي fi in ٱلۡأَرۡضِ al-ardi the earth فَيَنظُرُواْ fayanzuru and observed كَيۡفَ kayfa how كَانَ kana was عَٰقِبَةُ aqibatu (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ alladhina (of) those مِن min before them? قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ qablihim before them? كَانُوٓاْ kanu They were أَشَدَّ ashadda mightier مِنۡهُمۡ min'hum than them قُوَّةٗ quwwatan (in) strength وَأَثَارُواْ wa-atharu and they dug ٱلۡأَرۡضَ al-arda the earth وَعَمَرُوهَآ wa'amaruha and built (on) it أَكۡثَرَ akthara more مِمَّا mimma than what عَمَرُوهَا amaruha they have built (on) it وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ wajaathum And came (to) them رُسُلُهُم rusuluhum their Messengers بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ bil-bayinati with clear proofs فَمَا fama So not كَانَ kana was ٱللَّهُ al-lahu Allah لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ liyazlimahum to wrong them وَلَٰكِن walakin but كَانُوٓاْ kanu they were أَنفُسَهُمۡ anfusahum themselves يَظۡلِمُونَ yazlimuna (doing) wrong ٩
awalam yasiru fi al-ardi fayanzuru kayfa kana aqibatu alladhina min qablihim kanu ashadda min'hum quwwatan wa-atharu al-arda wa'amaruha akthara mimma amaruha wajaathum rusuluhum bil-bayinati fama kana al-lahu liyazlimahum walakin kanu anfusahum yazlimuna
— Transliteration

30:10
ثُمَّ thumma Then كَانَ kana was عَٰقِبَةَ aqibata (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ alladhina (of) those who أَسَٰٓـُٔواْ asau did evil ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ al-sua the evil أَن an because كَذَّبُواْ kadhabu they denied بِـَٔايَٰتِ biayati (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ al-lahi (of) Allah وَكَانُواْ wakanu and were بِهَا biha of them يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ yastahziuna making mockery ١٠
thumma kana aqibata alladhina asau al-sua an kadhabu biayati al-lahi wakanu biha yastahziuna
