93:1
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ wal-duha By the morning brightness ١
wal-duha
— Transliteration
By the forenoon (after sun-rise)

93:2
وَٱلَّيۡلِ wa-al-layli And the night إِذَا idha when سَجَىٰ saja it covers with darkness ٢
wa-al-layli idha saja
— Transliteration
And by the night when it is still (or darkens)

93:3
مَا ma Not وَدَّعَكَ wadda'aka has forsaken you رَبُّكَ rabbuka your Lord وَمَا wama and not قَلَىٰ qala He is displeased ٣
ma wadda'aka rabbuka wama qala
— Transliteration
Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you

93:4
وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ walalakhiratu And surely the Hereafter خَيۡرٞ khayrun (is) better لَّكَ laka for you مِنَ mina than ٱلۡأُولَىٰ al-ula the first ٤
walalakhiratu khayrun laka mina al-ula
— Transliteration
And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world)

93:5
وَلَسَوۡفَ walasawfa And soon يُعۡطِيكَ yu'tika will give you رَبُّكَ rabbuka your Lord فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ fatarda then you will be satisfied ٥
walasawfa yu'tika rabbuka fatarda
— Transliteration
And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased

93:6
أَلَمۡ alam Did not يَجِدۡكَ yajid'ka He find you يَتِيمٗا yatiman an orphan فَـَٔاوَىٰ faawa and give shelter? ٦
alam yajid'ka yatiman faawa
— Transliteration
Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge

93:7
وَوَجَدَكَ wawajadaka And He found you ضَآلّٗا dallan lost فَهَدَىٰ fahada so He guided ٧
wawajadaka dallan fahada
— Transliteration
And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you

93:8
وَوَجَدَكَ wawajadaka And He found you عَآئِلٗا ailan in need فَأَغۡنَىٰ fa-aghna so He made selfsufficient ٨
wawajadaka ailan fa-aghna
— Transliteration
And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc)

93:9
فَأَمَّا fa-amma So as for ٱلۡيَتِيمَ al-yatima the orphan فَلَا fala then (do) not تَقۡهَرۡ taqhar oppress ٩
fa-amma al-yatima fala taqhar
— Transliteration
Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression

93:10
وَأَمَّا wa-amma And as for ٱلسَّآئِلَ al-saila one who asks فَلَا fala then (do) not تَنۡهَرۡ tanhar repel ١٠
wa-amma al-saila fala tanhar
— Transliteration
And repulse not the beggar
