الصَّمَدُٱلصَّمَدُl-ṣamaduthe Eternal the Absoluteاللَّهُٱللَّهُal-lahuAllah
Ta-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. These are the Verses of the Quran, and (it is) a Book (that makes things) clear — English - Hilali & Khan
27:2
هُدٗىhudanA guidanceوَبُشۡرَىٰwabush'raand glad tidingsلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَlil'mu'mininafor the believers٢
hudan wabush'ra lil'mu'minina — Transliteration
A guide (to the Right Path); and glad tidings for the believers [who believe in the Oneness of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism] — English - Hilali & Khan
27:3
ٱلَّذِينَalladhinaThose whoيُقِيمُونَyuqimunaestablishٱلصَّلَوٰةَal-salatathe prayerوَيُؤۡتُونَwayu'tunaand giveٱلزَّكَوٰةَal-zakatazakahوَهُمwahumand theyبِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِbil-akhiratiin the Hereafterهُمۡhum[they]يُوقِنُونَyuqinunabelieve with certainty٣
Those who perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter (resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc) — English - Hilali & Khan
27:4
إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoلَاla(do) notيُؤۡمِنُونَyu'minunabelieveبِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِbil-akhiratiin the HereafterزَيَّنَّاzayyannaWe have made fairseemingلَهُمۡlahumto themأَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡa'malahumtheir deedsفَهُمۡfahumso theyيَعۡمَهُونَya'mahunawander blindly٤
Verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so they wander about blindly — English - Hilali & Khan
27:5
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَulaikaThoseٱلَّذِينَalladhina(are) the onesلَهُمۡlahumfor themسُوٓءُsuu(is) an evilٱلۡعَذَابِal-'adhabi[the] punishmentوَهُمۡwahumand theyفِيfiinٱلۡأٓخِرَةِal-akhiratithe Hereafterهُمُhumu[they]ٱلۡأَخۡسَرُونَal-akhsaruna(will be) the greatest losers٥
ulaika alladhina lahum suu al-'adhabi wahum fi al-akhirati humu al-akhsaruna — Transliteration
They are those for whom there will be an evil torment (in this world). And in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers — English - Hilali & Khan
wa-innaka latulaqqa al-qur'ana min ladun hakimin alimin — Transliteration
And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are receiving the Quran from the One, All-Wise, All-Knowing — English - Hilali & Khan
27:7
إِذۡidhWhenقَالَqalasaidمُوسَىٰmusaMusaلِأَهۡلِهِۦٓli-ahlihito his familyإِنِّيٓinniIndeed Iءَانَسۡتُanastuperceiveنَارٗاnarana fireسَـَٔاتِيكُمsaatikumI will bring youمِّنۡهَاmin'hafrom itبِخَبَرٍbikhabarinsome informationأَوۡaworءَاتِيكُمatikumI will bring youبِشِهَابٖbishihabina torchقَبَسٖqabasinburningلَّعَلَّكُمۡla'allakumso that you mayتَصۡطَلُونَtastalunawarm yourselves٧
idh qala musa li-ahlihi inni anastu naran saatikum min'ha bikhabarin aw atikum bishihabin qabasin la'allakum tastaluna — Transliteration
(Remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his household: "Verily! I have seen a fire, I will bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand, that you may warm yourselves — English - Hilali & Khan
27:8
فَلَمَّاfalammaBut whenجَآءَهَاjaahahe came to itنُودِيَnudiyahe was calledأَنۢan[that]بُورِكَburikaBlessed isمَنmanwhoفِيfi(is) atٱلنَّارِal-narithe fireوَمَنۡwamanand whoeverحَوۡلَهَاhawlaha(is) around itوَسُبۡحَٰنَwasub'hanaAnd glory beٱللَّهِal-lahi(to) Allahرَبِّrabbi(the) Lordٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَal-'alamina(of) the worlds٨
falamma jaaha nudiya an burika man fi al-nari waman hawlaha wasub'hana al-lahi rabbi al-'alamina — Transliteration
But when he came to it, he was called: "Blessed is whosoever is in the fire, and whosoever is round about it! And glorified be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists) — English - Hilali & Khan
yamusa innahu ana al-lahu al-'azizu al-hakimu — Transliteration
O Musa (Moses)! Verily! It is I, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise — English - Hilali & Khan
27:10
وَأَلۡقِwa-alqiAnd Throwعَصَاكَۚasakayour staffفَلَمَّاfalammaBut whenرَءَاهَاraahahe saw itتَهۡتَزُّtahtazzumovingكَأَنَّهَاka-annahaas if itجَآنّٞjannun(were) a snakeوَلَّىٰwallahe turned backمُدۡبِرٗاmud'biran(in) flightوَلَمۡwalamand (did) notيُعَقِّبۡۚyu'aqqiblook backيَٰمُوسَىٰyamusaO Musa!لَاla(Do) notتَخَفۡtakhaffearإِنِّيinniIndeed [I]لَاla(do) notيَخَافُyakhafufearلَدَيَّladayya(in) My presenceٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَal-mur'salunathe Messengers١٠
wa-alqi asaka falamma raaha tahtazzu ka-annaha jannun walla mud'biran walam yu'aqqib yamusa la takhaf inni la yakhafu ladayya al-mur'saluna — Transliteration
And throw down your stick!" But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight, and did not look back. (It was said): "O Musa (Moses)! Fear not, verily! The Messengers fear not in front of Me — English - Hilali & Khan
