qaf wal-qur'ani al-majidi — Transliteration
Qaf. [These letters (Qaf, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the Glorious Quran — English - Hilali & Khan
50:2
بَلۡbalNayعَجِبُوٓاْajibuthey wonderأَنanthatجَآءَهُمjaahumhas come to themمُّنذِرٞmundhiruna warnerمِّنۡهُمۡmin'humfrom themفَقَالَfaqalaSo sayٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَal-kafirunathe disbelieversهَٰذَاhadhaThisشَيۡءٌshayon(is) a thingعَجِيبٌajibunamazing٢
bal ajibu an jaahum mundhirun min'hum faqala al-kafiruna hadha shayon ajibun — Transliteration
Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing — English - Hilali & Khan
50:3
أَءِذَاa-idhaWhat! Whenمِتۡنَاmit'nawe dieوَكُنَّاwakunnaand have becomeتُرَابٗاۖturabandustذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatرَجۡعُۢraj'un(is) a returnبَعِيدٞba'idunfar٣
When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return — English - Hilali & Khan
50:4
قَدۡqadCertainlyعَلِمۡنَاalim'naWe knowمَاmawhatتَنقُصُtanqusudiminishesٱلۡأَرۡضُal-arduthe earthمِنۡهُمۡۖmin'humof themوَعِندَنَاwa'indanaand with Usكِتَٰبٌkitabun(is) a Bookحَفِيظُۢhafizunguarded٤
qad alim'na ma tanqusu al-ardu min'hum wa'indana kitabun hafizun — Transliteration
We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a Book preserved (i.e. the Book of Decrees) — English - Hilali & Khan
50:5
بَلۡbalNayكَذَّبُواْkadhabuthey deniedبِٱلۡحَقِّbil-haqithe truthلَمَّاlammawhenجَآءَهُمۡjaahumit came (to) themفَهُمۡfahumso theyفِيٓfi(are) inأَمۡرٖamrina stateمَّرِيجٍmarijinconfused٥
bal kadhabu bil-haqi lamma jaahum fahum fi amrin marijin — Transliteration
Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong) — English - Hilali & Khan
50:6
أَفَلَمۡafalamThen do notيَنظُرُوٓاْyanzuruthey lookإِلَىilaatٱلسَّمَآءِal-samaithe skyفَوۡقَهُمۡfawqahumabove them كَيۡفَkayfahowبَنَيۡنَٰهَاbanaynahaWe structured itوَزَيَّنَّٰهَاwazayyannahaand adorned itوَمَاwamaand notلَهَاlahafor itمِنminanyفُرُوجٖfurujinrifts?٦
afalam yanzuru ila al-samai fawqahum kayfa banaynaha wazayyannaha wama laha min furujin — Transliteration
Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it — English - Hilali & Khan
50:7
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَwal-ardaAnd the earthمَدَدۡنَٰهَاmadadnahaWe have spread it outوَأَلۡقَيۡنَاwa-alqaynaand castفِيهَاfihathereinرَوَٰسِيَrawasiyafirmly set mountainsوَأَنۢبَتۡنَاwa-anbatnaand We made to growفِيهَاfihathereinمِنminofكُلِّkullieveryزَوۡجِۭzawjinkindبَهِيجٖbahijinbeautiful٧
wal-arda madadnaha wa-alqayna fiha rawasiya wa-anbatna fiha min kulli zawjin bahijin — Transliteration
And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants) — English - Hilali & Khan
50:8
تَبۡصِرَةٗtabsiratanGiving insightوَذِكۡرَىٰwadhik'raand a reminderلِكُلِّlikullifor everyعَبۡدٖabdinslaveمُّنِيبٖmunibinwho turns٨
An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon) — English - Hilali & Khan
50:9
وَنَزَّلۡنَاwanazzalnaAnd We have sent downمِنَminafromٱلسَّمَآءِal-samaithe skyمَآءٗmaanwaterمُّبَٰرَكٗاmubarakanblessedفَأَنۢبَتۡنَاfa-anbatnathen We made to growبِهِۦbihitherebyجَنَّٰتٖjannatingardensوَحَبَّwahabbaand grainٱلۡحَصِيدِal-hasidi(for) the harvest٩
wanazzalna mina al-samai maan mubarakan fa-anbatna bihi jannatin wahabba al-hasidi — Transliteration
And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped — English - Hilali & Khan
50:10
وَٱلنَّخۡلَwal-nakhlaAnd the palms treesبَاسِقَٰتٖbasiqatintall لَّهَاlahafor itطَلۡعٞtal'un(are) layersنَّضِيدٞnadidunarranged١٠
