37:1
وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ wal-safati By those lined صَفّٗا saffan (in) rows ١
wal-safati saffan
— Transliteration
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows)

37:2
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ fal-zajirati And those who drive زَجۡرٗا zajran strongly ٢
fal-zajirati zajran
— Transliteration
By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way
— English - Hilali & Khan
37:3
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ fal-taliyati And those who recite ذِكۡرًا dhik'ran (the) Message ٣
fal-taliyati dhik'ran
— Transliteration
By those (angels) who bring the Book and the Quran from Allah to mankind [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]

37:4
إِنَّ inna Indeed إِلَٰهَكُمۡ ilahakum your Lord لَوَٰحِدٞ lawahidun (is) surely One ٤
inna ilahakum lawahidun
— Transliteration
Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah)

37:5
رَّبُّ rabbu Lord ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ al-samawati (of) the heavens وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ wal-ardi and the earth وَمَا wama and what بَيۡنَهُمَا baynahuma (is) between both of them وَرَبُّ warabbu and Lord ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ al-mashariqi (of) each point of sunrise ٥
rabbu al-samawati wal-ardi wama baynahuma warabbu al-mashariqi
— Transliteration
Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)

37:6
إِنَّا inna Indeed We زَيَّنَّا zayyanna [We] adorned ٱلسَّمَآءَ al-samaa the sky ٱلدُّنۡيَا al-dun'ya [the world] بِزِينَةٍ bizinatin with an adornment ٱلۡكَوَاكِبِ al-kawakibi (of) the stars ٦
inna zayyanna al-samaa al-dun'ya bizinatin al-kawakibi
— Transliteration
Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty)

37:7
وَحِفۡظٗا wahif'zan And (to) guard مِّن min against كُلِّ kulli every شَيۡطَٰنٖ shaytanin devil مَّارِدٖ maridin rebellious ٧
wahif'zan min kulli shaytanin maridin
— Transliteration
And to guard against every rebellious devil

37:8
لَّا la Not يَسَّمَّعُونَ yassamma'una they may listen إِلَى ila to ٱلۡمَلَإِ al-mala-i the assembly ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ al-a'la [the] exalted وَيُقۡذَفُونَ wayuq'dhafuna are pelted مِن min from كُلِّ kulli every جَانِبٖ janibin side ٨
la yassamma'una ila al-mala-i al-a'la wayuq'dhafuna min kulli janibin
— Transliteration
They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side

37:9
دُحُورٗاۖ duhuran Repelled وَلَهُمۡ walahum and for them عَذَابٞ adhabun (is) a punishment وَاصِبٌ wasibun perpetual ٩
duhuran walahum adhabun wasibun
— Transliteration
Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment

37:10
إِلَّا illa Except مَنۡ man (him) who خَطِفَ khatifa snatches ٱلۡخَطۡفَةَ al-khatfata (by) theft فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ fa-atba'ahu but follows him شِهَابٞ shihabun a burning flame ثَاقِبٞ thaqibun piercing ١٠
illa man khatifa al-khatfata fa-atba'ahu shihabun thaqibun
— Transliteration
Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness
