حمٓ Ha-meem Ha Meem ١
Ha-meem
— Transliteration
Ha-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings

41:2
تَنزِيلٞ tanzilun A revelation مِّنَ mina from ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ al-rahmani the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ al-rahimi the Most Merciful ٢
tanzilun mina al-rahmani al-rahimi
— Transliteration
A revelation from Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

41:3
كِتَٰبٞ kitabun A Book فُصِّلَتۡ fussilat are detailed ءَايَٰتُهُۥ ayatuhu its Verses قُرۡءَانًا qur'anan a Quran عَرَبِيّٗا arabiyyan (in) Arabic لِّقَوۡمٖ liqawmin for a people يَعۡلَمُونَ ya'lamuna (who) know ٣
kitabun fussilat ayatuhu qur'anan arabiyyan liqawmin ya'lamuna

A Book whereof the Verses are explained in detail; A Quran in Arabic for people who know

41:4
بَشِيرٗا bashiran A giver of glad tidings وَنَذِيرٗا wanadhiran and a warner فَأَعۡرَضَ fa-a'rada but turn away أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ aktharuhum most of them فَهُمۡ fahum so they لَا la (do) not يَسۡمَعُونَ yasma'una hear ٤
bashiran wanadhiran fa-a'rada aktharuhum fahum la yasma'una
— Transliteration
Giving glad tidings [of Paradise to the one who believes in the Oneness of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) and fears Allah much (abstains from all kinds of sins and evil deeds) and loves Allah much (performing all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], and warning (of punishment in the Hell Fire to the one who disbelieves in the Oneness of Allah), but most of them turn away, so they listen not

41:5
وَقَالُواْ waqalu And they say قُلُوبُنَا qulubuna Our hearts فِيٓ fi (are) in أَكِنَّةٖ akinnatin coverings مِّمَّا mimma from what تَدۡعُونَآ tad'una you call us إِلَيۡهِ ilayhi to it وَفِيٓ wafi and in ءَاذَانِنَا adhanina our ears وَقۡرٞ waqrun (is) deafness وَمِنۢ wamin and between us بَيۡنِنَا baynina and between us وَبَيۡنِكَ wabaynika and between you حِجَابٞ hijabun (is) a screen فَٱعۡمَلۡ fa-i'mal So work إِنَّنَا innana indeed we عَٰمِلُونَ amiluna (are) working ٥
waqalu qulubuna fi akinnatin mimma tad'una ilayhi wafi adhanina waqrun wamin baynina wabaynika hijabun fa-i'mal innana amiluna
— Transliteration
And they say: "Our hearts are under coverings (screened) from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a screen, so work you (on your way); verily, we are working (on our way)

41:6
قُلۡ qul Say إِنَّمَآ innama Only أَنَا۠ ana I am بَشَرٞ basharun a man مِّثۡلُكُمۡ mith'lukum like you يُوحَىٰٓ yuha it is revealed إِلَيَّ ilayya to me أَنَّمَآ annama that إِلَٰهُكُمۡ ilahukum your god إِلَٰهٞ ilahun (is) God وَٰحِدٞ wahidun One فَٱسۡتَقِيمُوٓاْ fa-is'taqimu so take a Straight Path إِلَيۡهِ ilayhi to Him وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُوهُۗ wa-is'taghfiruhu and ask His forgiveness وَوَيۡلٞ wawaylun And woe لِّلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ lil'mush'rikina to the polytheists ٦
qul innama ana basharun mith'lukum yuha ilayya annama ilahukum ilahun wahidun fa-is'taqimu ilayhi wa-is'taghfiruhu wawaylun lil'mush'rikina
— Transliteration
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a human being like you. It is inspired in me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God - Allah), therefore take Straight Path to Him (with true Faith Islamic Monotheism) and obedience to Him, and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe to Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc. - see V)

41:7
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhina Those who لَا la (do) not يُؤۡتُونَ yu'tuna give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ al-zakata the zakah وَهُم wahum and they بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ bil-akhirati in the Hereafter هُمۡ hum they كَٰفِرُونَ kafiruna (are) disbelievers ٧
alladhina la yu'tuna al-zakata wahum bil-akhirati hum kafiruna
— Transliteration
Those who give not the Zakat and they are disbelievers in the Hereafter

41:8
إِنَّ inna Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ alladhina those who ءَامَنُواْ amanu believe وَعَمِلُواْ wa'amilu and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ al-salihati righteous deeds لَهُمۡ lahum for them أَجۡرٌ ajrun (is) a reward غَيۡرُ ghayru never ending مَمۡنُونٖ mamnunin never ending ٨
inna alladhina amanu wa'amilu al-salihati lahum ajrun ghayru mamnunin
— Transliteration
Truly, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW) and do righteous good deeds, for them will be an endless reward that will never stop (i.e. Paradise)

41:9
۞قُلۡ qul Say أَئِنَّكُمۡ a-innakum Do you indeed لَتَكۡفُرُونَ latakfuruna [surely] disbelieve بِٱلَّذِي bi-alladhi in the One Who خَلَقَ khalaqa created ٱلۡأَرۡضَ al-arda the earth فِي fi in يَوۡمَيۡنِ yawmayni two periods وَتَجۡعَلُونَ wataj'aluna and you set up لَهُۥٓ lahu with Him أَندَادٗاۚ andadan rivals? ذَٰلِكَ dhalika That رَبُّ rabbu (is the) Lord ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ al-'alamina (of) the worlds ٩
qul a-innakum latakfuruna bi-alladhi khalaqa al-arda fi yawmayni wataj'aluna lahu andadan dhalika rabbu al-'alamina
— Transliteration
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Do you verily disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two Days and you set up rivals (in worship) with Him? That is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)

41:10
وَجَعَلَ waja'ala And He placed فِيهَا fiha therein رَوَٰسِيَ rawasiya firmlyset mountains مِن min above it فَوۡقِهَا fawqiha above it وَبَٰرَكَ wabaraka and He blessed فِيهَا fiha therein وَقَدَّرَ waqaddara and determined فِيهَآ fiha therein أَقۡوَٰتَهَا aqwataha its sustenance فِيٓ fi in أَرۡبَعَةِ arba'ati four أَيَّامٖ ayyamin periods سَوَآءٗ sawaan equal لِّلسَّآئِلِينَ lilssailina for those who ask ١٠
waja'ala fiha rawasiya min fawqiha wabaraka fiha waqaddara fiha aqwataha fi arba'ati ayyamin sawaan lilssailina
— Transliteration
He placed therein (i.e. the earth) firm mountains from above it, and He blessed it, and measured therein its sustenance (for its dwellers) in four Days equal (i.e. all these four 'days' were equal in the length of time), for all those who ask (about its creation)
