100:1
وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ wal-'adiyati By the racers ضَبۡحٗا dabhan panting ١
wal-'adiyati dabhan
— Transliteration
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath)

100:2
فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ fal-muriyati And the producers of sparks قَدۡحٗا qadhan striking ٢
fal-muriyati qadhan
— Transliteration
Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves)

100:3
فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ fal-mughirati And the chargers صُبۡحٗا sub'han (at) dawn ٣
fal-mughirati sub'han
— Transliteration
And scouring to the raid at dawn

100:4
فَأَثَرۡنَ fa-atharna Then raise بِهِۦ bihi thereby نَقۡعٗا naq'an dust ٤
fa-atharna bihi naq'an
— Transliteration
And raise the dust in clouds the while

100:5
فَوَسَطۡنَ fawasatna Then penetrate (in the) center بِهِۦ bihi thereby جَمۡعًا jam'an collectively ٥
fawasatna bihi jam'an
— Transliteration
Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe)

100:6
إِنَّ inna Indeed ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ al-insana mankind لِرَبِّهِۦ lirabbihi to his Lord لَكَنُودٞ lakanudun (is) surely ungrateful ٦
inna al-insana lirabbihi lakanudun
— Transliteration
Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord

100:7
وَإِنَّهُۥ wa-innahu And indeed he عَلَىٰ ala on ذَٰلِكَ dhalika that لَشَهِيدٞ lashahidun surely (is) a witness ٧
wa-innahu ala dhalika lashahidun
— Transliteration
And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds)

100:8
وَإِنَّهُۥ wa-innahu And indeed he لِحُبِّ lihubbi in (the) love ٱلۡخَيۡرِ al-khayri (of) wealth لَشَدِيدٌ lashadidun (is) surely intense ٨
wa-innahu lihubbi al-khayri lashadidun
— Transliteration
And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth

100:9
۞أَفَلَا afala But does not يَعۡلَمُ ya'lamu he know إِذَا idha when بُعۡثِرَ bu'thira will be scattered مَا ma what فِي fi (is) in ٱلۡقُبُورِ al-quburi the graves ٩
afala ya'lamu idha bu'thira ma fi al-quburi
— Transliteration
Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected)

100:10
وَحُصِّلَ wahussila And is made apparent مَا ma what فِي fi (is) in ٱلصُّدُورِ al-suduri the breasts? ١٠
wahussila ma fi al-suduri
— Transliteration
And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known
