113:1
قُلۡ qul Say أَعُوذُ a'udhu I seek refuge بِرَبِّ birabbi in (the) Lord ٱلۡفَلَقِ al-falaqi (of) the dawn ١
qul a'udhu birabbi al-falaqi
— Transliteration
Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak

113:2
مِن min From شَرِّ sharri (the) evil مَا ma (of) what خَلَقَ khalaqa He created ٢
min sharri ma khalaqa
— Transliteration
From the evil of what He has created

113:3
وَمِن wamin And from شَرِّ sharri (the) evil غَاسِقٍ ghasiqin (of) darkness إِذَا idha when وَقَبَ waqaba it spreads ٣
wamin sharri ghasiqin idha waqaba
— Transliteration
And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away)

113:4
وَمِن wamin And from شَرِّ sharri (the) evil ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ al-nafathati (of) the blowers فِي fi in ٱلۡعُقَدِ al-'uqadi the knots ٤
wamin sharri al-nafathati fi al-'uqadi
— Transliteration
And from the evil of the witchcrafts when they blow in the knots

وَمِن wamin And from شَرِّ sharri (the) evil حَاسِدٍ hasidin (of) an envier إِذَا idha when حَسَدَ hasada he envies ٥
wamin sharri hasidin idha hasada
— Transliteration
And from the evil of the envier when he envies
