87:1
سَبِّحِ sabbihi Glorify ٱسۡمَ is'ma (the) name رَبِّكَ rabbika (of) your Lord ٱلۡأَعۡلَى al-a'la the Most High ١
sabbihi is'ma rabbika al-a'la
— Transliteration
Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High

87:2
ٱلَّذِي alladhi The One Who خَلَقَ khalaqa created فَسَوَّىٰ fasawwa then proportioned ٢
alladhi khalaqa fasawwa
— Transliteration
Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it

87:3
وَٱلَّذِي wa-alladhi And the One Who قَدَّرَ qaddara measured فَهَدَىٰ fahada then guided ٣
wa-alladhi qaddara fahada
— Transliteration
And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture)

87:4
وَٱلَّذِيٓ wa-alladhi And the One Who أَخۡرَجَ akhraja brings forth ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ al-mar'a the pasture ٤
wa-alladhi akhraja al-mar'a
— Transliteration
And Who brings out the pasturage

87:5
فَجَعَلَهُۥ faja'alahu And then makes it غُثَآءً ghuthaan stubble أَحۡوَىٰ ahwa dark ٥
faja'alahu ghuthaan ahwa
— Transliteration
And then makes it dark stubble

87:6
سَنُقۡرِئُكَ sanuq'ri-uka We will make you recite فَلَا fala so not تَنسَىٰٓ tansa you will forget ٦
sanuq'ri-uka fala tansa
— Transliteration
We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it)

87:7
إِلَّا illa Except مَا ma what شَآءَ shaa wills ٱللَّهُۚ al-lahu Allah إِنَّهُۥ innahu Indeed He يَعۡلَمُ ya'lamu knows ٱلۡجَهۡرَ al-jahra the manifest وَمَا wama and what يَخۡفَىٰ yakhfa is hidden ٧
illa ma shaa al-lahu innahu ya'lamu al-jahra wama yakhfa
— Transliteration
Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden

87:8
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ wanuyassiruka And We will ease you لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ lil'yus'ra to the ease ٨
wanuyassiruka lil'yus'ra
— Transliteration
And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds)

87:9
فَذَكِّرۡ fadhakkir So remind إِن in if نَّفَعَتِ nafa'ati benefits ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ al-dhik'ra the reminder ٩
fadhakkir in nafa'ati al-dhik'ra
— Transliteration
Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them)

87:10
سَيَذَّكَّرُ sayadhakkaru He will pay heed مَن man (one) who يَخۡشَىٰ yakhsha fears (Allah) ١٠
sayadhakkaru man yakhsha
— Transliteration
The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah)
