68:1
نٓۚ noon Nun وَٱلۡقَلَمِ wal-qalami By the pen وَمَا wama and what يَسۡطُرُونَ yasturuna they write ١
noon wal-qalami wama yasturuna
— Transliteration
Nun. [These letters (Nun, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the pen and what the (angels) write (in the Records of men)

68:2
مَآ ma Not أَنتَ anta you (are) بِنِعۡمَةِ bini'mati by (the) Grace رَبِّكَ rabbika (of) your Lord بِمَجۡنُونٖ bimajnunin a madman ٢
ma anta bini'mati rabbika bimajnunin
— Transliteration
You (O Muhammad SAW) are not, by the Grace of your Lord, a madman

68:3
وَإِنَّ wa-inna And indeed لَكَ laka for you لَأَجۡرًا la-ajran surely (is) a reward غَيۡرَ ghayra without مَمۡنُونٖ mamnunin end ٣
wa-inna laka la-ajran ghayra mamnunin
— Transliteration
And verily, for you (O Muhammad SAW) will be an endless reward

68:4
وَإِنَّكَ wa-innaka And indeed you لَعَلَىٰ la'ala surely (are) خُلُقٍ khuluqin (of) a moral character عَظِيمٖ azimin great ٤
wa-innaka la'ala khuluqin azimin
— Transliteration
And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on an exalted standard of character

68:5
فَسَتُبۡصِرُ fasatub'siru So you will see وَيُبۡصِرُونَ wayub'siruna and they will see ٥

— Transliteration
You will see, and they will see

68:6
بِأَييِّكُمُ bi-ayyikumu Which of you ٱلۡمَفۡتُونُ al-maftunu (is) the afflicted one ٦
bi-ayyikumu al-maftunu
— Transliteration
Which of you is afflicted with madness

68:7
إِنَّ inna Indeed رَبَّكَ rabbaka your Lord هُوَ huwa He أَعۡلَمُ a'lamu (is) most knowing بِمَن biman of (he) who ضَلَّ dalla has strayed عَن an from سَبِيلِهِۦ sabilihi His way وَهُوَ wahuwa and He أَعۡلَمُ a'lamu (is) most knowing بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ bil-muh'tadina of the guided ones ٧
inna rabbaka huwa a'lamu biman dalla an sabilihi wahuwa a'lamu bil-muh'tadina
— Transliteration
Verily, your Lord knows better, who (among men) has gone astray from His Path, and He knows better those who are guided

68:8
فَلَا fala So (do) not تُطِعِ tuti'i obey ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ al-mukadhibina the deniers ٨
fala tuti'i al-mukadhibina
— Transliteration
So (O Muhammad SAW) obey not the deniers [(of Islamic Monotheism those who belie the Verses of Allah), the Oneness of Allah, and the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad SAW), etc

68:9
وَدُّواْ waddu They wish لَوۡ law that تُدۡهِنُ tud'hinu you should compromise فَيُدۡهِنُونَ fayud'hinuna so they would compromise ٩
waddu law tud'hinu fayud'hinuna
— Transliteration
They wish that you should compromise (in religion out of courtesy) with them, so they (too) would compromise with you

68:10
وَلَا wala And (do) not تُطِعۡ tuti' obey كُلَّ kulla every حَلَّافٖ hallafin habitual swearer مَّهِينٍ mahinin worthless ١٠
wala tuti' kulla hallafin mahinin
— Transliteration
And obey not everyone who swears much, and is considered worthless
