بِسۡمِ bis'mi In (the) name ٱللَّهِ al-lahi (of) Allah ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ al-rahmani the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ al-rahimi the Most Merciful ١
bis'mi al-lahi al-rahmani al-rahimi
— Transliteration
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

1:2
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ al-hamdu All praises and thanks لِلَّهِ lillahi (be) to Allah رَبِّ rabbi the Lord ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ al-'alamina of the universe ٢
al-hamdu lillahi rabbi al-'alamina
— Transliteration
All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)

1:3
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ al-rahmani The Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ al-rahimi the Most Merciful ٣

— Transliteration
The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

1:4
مَٰلِكِ maliki (The) Master يَوۡمِ yawmi (of the) Day ٱلدِّينِ al-dini (of the) Judgment ٤
maliki yawmi al-dini
— Transliteration
The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)

1:5
إِيَّاكَ iyyaka You Alone نَعۡبُدُ na'budu we worship وَإِيَّاكَ wa-iyyaka and You Alone نَسۡتَعِينُ nasta'inu we ask for help ٥
iyyaka na'budu wa-iyyaka nasta'inu
— Transliteration
You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything)

1:6
ٱهۡدِنَا ih'dina Guide us ٱلصِّرَٰطَ al-sirata (to) the path ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ al-mus'taqima the straight ٦
ih'dina al-sirata al-mus'taqima
— Transliteration
Guide us to the Straight Way

1:7
صِرَٰطَ sirata (The) path ٱلَّذِينَ alladhina (of) those أَنۡعَمۡتَ an'amta You have bestowed (Your) Favors عَلَيۡهِمۡ alayhim on them غَيۡرِ ghayri not (of) ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ al-maghdubi those who earned (Your) wrath عَلَيۡهِمۡ alayhim on themselves وَلَا wala and not ٱلضَّآلِّينَ al-dalina (of) those who go astray ٧
sirata alladhina an'amta alayhim ghayri al-maghdubi alayhim wala al-dalina
— Transliteration
The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray
